  4. Requirements and procedures for a new church plant or new member church have been completed.

  1. The Network Leadership Team has approved the local church bylaws. They need to be compatible and in agreement with the guiding principles of the Network.

  2. Embraces an apostolic understanding of church government and the empowering ministry of the Holy Spirit.

  3. All property assets, real estate, and liabilities are the responsibility of the partner church.

  4. The church budgets money to the support of the Network.

Steps to Becoming a
Partner Church

  1. The leadership of the partnership church reads and agrees with the vision, values, bylaws, Statement of Faith, and guidelines in the Network Manual.

  2. There needs to be a time set aside for prayer and waiting before the Lord to receive the Lord's confirmation before the engagement begins.

  3. If the Lord gives His confirmation, then an engagement period begins for at least one year.

  4. The Senior Pastor and the Network Apostolic Team begin to build relationship. In some cases the Senior pastor may relate to a designated person appointed by the Network Apostolic Team.

  5. Oversight begins with the established engagement period.

  6. Tithing begins by the Senior Pastor at the beginning of the engagement period.

  7. The Senior Pastor begins to relate to other leaders within his geographic area within the Hopewell Network.

  8. After an engagement period of one year, the Network Apostolic Team and the potential partner church, Senior Pastor, and Eldership Team must be in full agreement before any commitment is made.

  9. If, after the one year engagement period, there is not agreement, then the Network Apostolic Team, the Senior Pastor, and his Eldership Team need to discern if there is a different direction the Lord may be giving.

  10. If there is full agreement between the Network Apostolic Team and the potential partner church, an agreement will be signed by two members of the Network Leadership Team, the Senior Pastor, and the elders of the partner church. There may be a public commissioning service by one or more Network Apostolic Team members and/or a designated person appointed by the Network Lead Apostle.
